Montessori early childhood teaching diploma

Anyone just finishing their one year Montessori part time early childhood teaching diploma?  I would love to know how difficult the course is and how much time at home you need to spend studying.

I did the Montessori teaching diploma in Ireland I sweated blood to achieve the qualification - but I wanted top marks. I spent every spare minute of my life studying and it definitely entailed more work than the two years of vocational childcare qualifications I did. We had an exam every month and a teaching file due every month plus a practical and written exam at the end. However, it is quite an inspiring subject and there were none of the dry subjects on the course (you know social and legal/health and safety etc) it was all education and development which helped. I will say doing Montessori with small children is quite difficult - it's a harder job - working leading ordinary play  based activities is a lot easier.
