i am currently finishing my foundation degree and wish to follow it with the EYPS whilst topping up by degree. i can only find this university near me in the north west area that runs this course, does anyone know what the uni is like, or does anyone have any thoughts on this course. anything u can say would be really appreciated. at the minute i'm doing th eFD at Burnley college through UCLAN and whilst the later is ok the college and teachers are crap so this is my dilema, whether to do the eyps at edgehill or the BA at burnley.
help please
rachx

Hi Rach
Just read your post and thought I would share my experiences with you! I did the EYP course at Egde Hill over 15 months, long pathway. I thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The campus is lovely although parking can be an issue but it probably is everywhere! Most important of all though is that the tutors were all helpful and at times really inspirational! They had set items to cover in each session but all allowed time for us to discuss concerns we had. I made some great friends and had a laugh along the way. I would recommend Edge Hill but the best advice is to go along meet the staff and get a feel for the place yourself. Whilst you're there enjoy a coffee at Water's Edge cafe and watch the ducks around the lake!
Good luck!

Hi Rach, fully agree with the other posts, i am currently in my second year on the foundation degree and hoping to do my BA Honors next year with EYPS. All staff at the Uni are very helpful and supportive I am sure if you choose to study it through them you will enjoy the experience.
Good luck xx

Hey there, I can totally recommend Edge Hill uni...it has a superb reputation especially within the Faculty of Eduaction. It has been praised for the EYPS programme as it is one of the only providers with its own team and programme (many of the others just access modules required). I completed my EYPS - Full Pathway there and still have contact with the team through mentoring students and as a representative on the board. I'm positive you will enjoy your studies there - I did.
Good luck!

Hi I would also recomend that you lookat Cetad in Lancaster University. I complted my EYPS there on the long pathway and found them superb. From my experiance Cetad has the edge over Edgehill as i know lots of EYP's who have studied at both and Cetad come out on top all the time.
Good Luck.

Don't do EYPS full stop! It's a joke!
