Hi All

I'm new here but wonder if anyone can help me??  I have an interview next week for a nursery nurse posistion in a maternity unit, and I really want the job!!

Does anyone have any idea what questions I might get asked?  Does anyone do this job, and may be able to help me prepare for it?

all help greatly appreciated!

I am a nanny but for a 2 and 3 year old......I can answer any questions if you have any? Let me know and I can give you my email address. Oh and good luck! x

Did you get a personal specification?  The interview questions may well be based on that - they want to see that you can do the job, so they will ask you about the differnt parts of it and your previous experiences.

What particularly drew you to this role?

My two worst interview questions:

What are your strengths? (not one for singing my own praises)

What are you weeknesses? (This 1 caught me offguard though knowing my ex-head that was intentional) Really struggled with this one - though now have the answer for life - INTERVIEWS!!

Oh another tip - if they ask you any thing you're not sure or confident about then always say you would need to check the policy - they'll love ot hear that!!!!
