Hi everyone, i was just wondering if anyone had recently had an inspection and if so what sort of questions did the inspector ask the staff. We are due one soon and i want to help my staff prepare in anyway i can so i thought a bit of role play might be a good idea.

Ofsted Inspector: 'What festivals have you celebrated recently?'

Me: 'Ganesh's birthday'

Ofsted Inspector: 'Oh, is that a child in the nursery?'

and - I have loads more like that!

That’s awful Whmon!! Did you manage to keep a straight face? How did you respond?

We had one in January. Was very hot on CRB records (having the numbers and issue dates in the setting) and all safeguarding procedures and training.
