Hi everyone,
Can anyone give me a hand, I completed my NNEB in 1996 and am now working as a nursery manager abroad, I am thinking of updating my qualification possibly to NVQ level 3, does anyone know if this is possible online from another eu country using my job a practical? I have asked around a bit and am waiting for repsonses but any help or info anyone could give me would be great.

I would have thought that as long as you have kept up to date with changes in EY etc you wouldn't have to do an NVQ3 as both qualifications are L3. There is a short qualification you can do which is a L3 and (I think) designed to bring people up to date, cant for the life of me think what it is called. Maybe have a look on the CACHE website.

You don't need to update the NNEB if you have been in regular employment. NVQ 3 is the equivalent, don't waste time doing that. if you want to do any further training do a higher qualification like the EYFS degree
