i have recently been promoted to supervisory nursery nurse and looking for ideas for new and inspiring activities. i am looking for malleable and messy play ideas. any advice appreciated. thanks

I work in the 0-2's area we do angel delight play, pasta, jelly, sand, water, shaving foam, playdough, snowflakes which is like a soap.. but when you mix it with water it goes all bubbly

i thought borax was pest control, but then thought maybe I was getting mixed up with something else. I was horrified to think that children could be playing with this stuff and other undesirable stuff.

we did loads when i was at a nursery baked beans ,jelly , cornflour can add food colouring for change, sugar and food colouring, water play with colour, spag hoops, shreaded paper, shaving foam. loads u can use!
