Thank you for your replies. This is really useful.
It's good to hear of ideas used by Providers.
If anyone else can think of anything that would be motivating or incentives that they receive please let me kno.

All the things that everyone has mentioned are really valuable ideas. It's not alway possible for nurseries (especially small ones) to offer cash incentives, and extra days off etc.
Some other suggestions are things like providing some regular non-contact time each week for staff to write up observations or do prep work, etc. Some settings close a room early one day, and allow that team to have time to plan together.
Other motivators are things like giving people reponsibilities or challenges, and let people implement their own ideas. This shows that their strengths are really valued.

at our PDN we get £135 for no days off all year or £65 for 3 days or less off..it's inexpensive for our managers in comparison with having staff off all the time.
