If I was to chose somebody to care for my child (not that I have one yet), I would not be basing what I paid them on minimum wage. It would be based on one thing, that that child would be my life, my pride and joy! If I were to put my child into nursery, I would not want underpaid people looking after it although I know how much love and care is put into each child!! I some times wonder if parents actually know how much the nursery staff get paid. Some of ours ask and they are disgusted when we tell them!! The government is the government, surely they got some money some where?!?!
