Career Change, Help Needed!!

Morning!
Basically I have an NVQ3 in childcare and currently working in a pre-school, but really feel I need a new challenge! And have notice alot of jobs for community Nurses are available. I do love working in a team but is also happy to work individually, So could anyone please tell me what this job basically involves and are you more working in a team or?
Anything you can tell me is much appreciated, Thank you!

Have you thought of moving to a different pre-school for a change of environment? What about looking for work in a children's centre, this might offer the new challenges you yearn for but would not take you too far out of your comfort zone.
Another new challemge might be to go for Early Years Professional Status.
I wish you every success should you deside to go into community nursing, but what a loss to Early Years.

Just like to point out that you need a BA before you can do EYPS.
The community nursery nurses I heve met generally work closely with the Health Visitors, so imagine it as a sort of HV's assistant - eg weighing babies at clinic and giving support to new mums.

Try a nursery centre. you would get alot of varying challenges there, while still working in a team and directly with children and babies of different abilities. Of all my jobs( i've been working with children for 35yrs) i found the Nursery centre work the most rewarding and sometimes very challenging. Good Luck
