Non-payment

I've allowed a parent to run up a £1000 + bill simply because she is a teacher and very, very plausible. First excuse was 'fradulent activity on her bank account causing it to be frozen' next excuse was 'illness causing her to be hospitalized for 3 weeks.'
Debt collector is now saying she is disputing the invoices, asking for copies of invoices stating dates, fees and hours of sessions. My invoices do not state times, only sessions. It is all my fault for believing that a professional person is as good as their word. It will NOT happen again.
