Interview question ideas...??

Hi all - I am currently updating our staff interview questions for the recruitment process and looking for some inspiration and new questions to ask.
Is anyone able to share what they find to be the most informative and helpful interview questions??
I am recruiting for both qualified staff and apprentices - any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thank you :)

where do u see urself in 5 years..... chances are they want to progress but how far how quick and are they willing to put in the work,
if you was given a display board at a specific point of the year eg xmas or easter what display would u do? it puts them on the spot with creativity and you get to see if they think out the box or if they would do the same old displays,
if you were given the chance to implement something withi n the setting what would u do? - qual only as apprentices prob wont have as much knowledge, it give u new ideas and will give u an inclin on whether they would be confident to try something big.
hope these help x

What do you know about our nursery? What three positive things would your current room buddy say about you? What are your strengths? What motivates you? What would you consider your "specialist subject?"

ask them about the new eyfs, how the changes will impact in practice. i always ask which theorists they prefer how they see their impact in todays practice. for a 3 ask about team work and the need for reflection. R`e the display if they say "i would..." then dont take them if they say i would ask the children what they would like to create take them!
for the apprentices, and think about this carefully theyre a nightmare, how will you ensure you are here on time every day, what do you imagine is the challeneg in childcare and ask them about how they cope with criticism. we have just canned our apprenticeship programme it was costing us way to much in real and practical terms and the quality of practitioner appalling.

For a qualified member of staff: "How would you recognise a high quality nursery? What aspects of your work do you consider to be most important in contributing to a highly effective workplace?"
