Managers pay???
Managers pay???

Hello.
I am expecting pay rise at end of month and have been asked to find out roughly what hourly rate managers are on. I have been with the setting over 5 years, have just completed foundation degree and moved setting forward to get Oustanding Ofsted. The setting is a Pre-School and can take 25 children per session, term time only. Manage team of 8.
Any ideas of pay expectations (hourly rate) ?
Thanks

I think it will depend on where you live but i would say anything between £9 and £12

I would say it depends on who you work for! I get £8 an hour have 15 staff and anything between 40-50 children 0-11. I wold love between £9 and £12

You need to find yourself a decent paid job, big time. A male manager would never put up with that low wage!

Smallfry, do you work in early years?
Your post is not in the least bit helpful.
From my experience nursery managers are not motivated by money.

How do they pay their bills then? We all work for pay, silly. We are not charities...xxx

I have recently promoted my deputy manager to manager and she will start on £8.00per hour however there will be a bonus incentive to get Cheshire East Councillers off our back and achieve a Good or Outstanding at next Ofsted. I will be employing an EYP who will earn more than the Manager but its qualifications that pay.
I have just lost my senior baby room leader to Lloyds Bank for £18000.
