What level have I got
What level have I got

Hello I hope you can help me.
I have been asked by my manager what level of qualification I have.
I have always thought I had level 3. Between 2000-2 I took the National Certificate in Early Years through Edexcel at Runshaw College Preston.
The level shown of the certs is "N" I have been told the level 3 only came in 2003.
Do I have to retake the course to gain the "Level 3"?
Thanks in anticipation.
Barbara

a certificate is usually a level 2.

you need to ring edexcel asap and find out if you have a license to practice.

Qualifications taken before 2003 can be matched to a level 3 eg The Diploma in Pre-school Practice (which i completed in 1999) is L3

Use the CWDC Qualification Checker on their website! It will tell you what level the certificate is and what training is needed to top up if required!
