Has anyone in Nursery Owner land ever had an Auditor in from Local Authority to check funding forms and also check how we have spent DIG grants or SEAD grants...???Appreciate your input..

no. Just been asked to say where the money has gone. Sometimes have to produce receipts if it's been equipment or copies of contracts if it's been for wages.

Thnaks Kaz,sorry the post appeared twice,computer looked as if not loading, so gave,up,...that's what I thought no problem there....except DIG paid to studying student first AND cover,but then in their wisdom 5 months after the event they decided it was for cover primarily.....Right hand not knowing s.prings to mind

This happened to the place I worked at but it was about 8 years ago. They checked that the funding form matched the register on any given day. It was quite quick and simple.
I imagine they need to check that money allocated has gone to where you said it was going, a lot of councils are having to make cuts so I suppose they are looking at where to start.
