Community Nursery Nurse

Hi,

I am trying to apply for a job as a community nursery nurse however I seem to be struggling to even get an interview. I know times are hard at the moment especially in the job market but I was wondering whether there was any training or experience I could gain which would make me a stronger candidate for such a position.

I recently graduate university with a 1st class honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and I also have my NVQ level 3.

Any advice I would be grateful.

Work for your local charity like homestart to gain experience and meet family support workers, social workers and health visitors who are in the know and will let you know when jobs become availble.
