Hey everyone
I was wondering if I could get some help or advice. I'm looking into doing a course to work in a nursery. Firstly is there much diffence between Nursery Assistants and Nursery Nurses?
Also could theses courses be done as distant learning courses? would they be just as good as oppose to going to college. Could anyone recommend any?
I would really appreciate your help.

the abosulte best thing to do is a level 2 certificate then a level 3 it will take you 2 years. childen deserve the very best trained and skilled staff so i wouldnt recommend a distance learning course, learning with others is the best way of learning. the CACHE courses are the best. www.cache.org.uk

I was hoping to do something from home or part time as I work full time. But i'm not having much luck trying to find one. There seems to be alot out there but I just dont know what nurseries would accept.

Most nurseries would prefer you to hve some experience. I don't know of any nursery workers that have done a distance learning course and then gone on to get a job in a nursery.
