Hi, im laura and im currently doing my first year in a foundation degree in early years. i have chosen to research outdoor play and was hoping if any one had an essay they would like to share so i can get an understanding of they type of writing they are expecting. i succesfully finished my level 3 but the uni keep stressing to me that the writing styles are different so if you could please help it would be much appreciated. :)

Thank-you i have read a variety of books on different writing styles however i learn through example, if that makes sense to fully understand something i need read some one elses. even if its just a section of an essay.

Exemplars are useful ways to address essay structure and academic writing styles. I would suggest you ask your tutor for an example of what has been written before. Otherwise have a look at some journals as they can assist you to learn how to set out and academic piece of research in a short and to the point way

and email me I can help you as you are right the writing style becomes more critical the more you go up the academic ladder, so it does take a bit of getting used to having to back up everything you say with evidence, but you will get the hang of it very quickly :)
