Do We Know Our Children

I saw this hanging on a wall in a nursery class and thought it was appropriate for this forum.
Bright beginnings, I have found
Start with children safe and sound
And when they have the tools in hand
To poke and prod, then understand.
Bright beginnings to explore
All their world upon the floor,
Then they start their upward climb
Towards the stars, if given time.
Don't know about you, but I would say this is a good definition of Developmentally Appropriate Practices. What do you think?
