I changed bank details with our LA finance team on 8th Feb. They have sent a remittance today with the old details on. I have contacted them to stop the payment and to ask for a faster payment to be made, of which I will cover the cost as our payroll is dependent on this.

They have said no because we should not be relying on 3/4 yr funding to cover our payroll.

Oh I so wish to work for the LA and live in their dreamworld looking down on providers.

So, maybe I am a little reliant this month on that funding, but hey, they owe it! Put that with the college childcare funding that pay in arrears at the end of the term. Add to that the EIG funding that should automatically be paid when the child starts but they haven't actioned it as our 3/4 2nd payment was due so they thought they would save time and money by putting them together. Now, bearing in mind that nearly half of our children fall into the 2,3,4 funding pot and a further 8 children are college funded.

Tell me again, who pays for these funded children!

Know the feeling....more than 3/4 of my children are 2/3/4/ funded....thinking of  limiting the number once checked with the powers that be on saturday at quarterly keeping in touch meetings.....or even stretched funding ---has anyone tried that ?

I think the La think we pay our wages on fresh air....our 2 year old funding started 4th Jan...we only this week got paid for it....

That's it Tish501. I am still waiting for mine, apparantley it will be Friday! I'm passed annoyed now, I'm tired just going through in my head what conversations i will be having tomorrow.

May try the stretched funding option, would also be interested in other people's views on this. I'm glad I'm not the only one with a high number of funded children. I agree what the chap said I shouldn't rely on the funding but where else would the income come from.

I'm hoping that the red wine bottle has the answer!

Nope no good for me gives me a headache,,same as nursery paperwork,,,,,white wine spritzer (s) for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
