As a manager of a nursery I carry out all appraisals with my staff. I want my deputies and room leaders to start doing regular supervisions with their teams so I am trying to put together some information on how to carry out supervisions.
Does anyone know where I can get some more information on this? They will be completing an online training course on it, but just looking for some more info to give them.

I wonder how big your setting is? I'm asking as between me and my deputy, supervisions take place every 8 weeks and this takes up. Lot of time- I can't see a way that I can release staff to supervise each other as they are with the children in ratio and I don't have many staff that I could trust with the responsibility of carrying them out to a meaningful or high enough standard?
