Parents are still unsure about 15 hours free provision

I recently posted on a local site that children who were aged 3 could have 15 hours free provision with us.

I had a reply from a parent of an 11 month old baby who wondered if they were eligible now????????????????

Oh dear....what do we have to do to make it clear ??? Perhaps that is the future for us...all children funded at a paltry rate and all go under :(

Parents are not getting the advice they need from famiy services that have been so heavily invested in by the government, I telephoned a mum to find our why her son had not been attending and she thought now her husband was working (after having 5 children together and living off the state) that she would not be entitled? Mum's who manage their household budgets through handouts have also been confused. My goodness I am begining to sound like a Tory that's business ownership for you....

I work in a Children's Centre and we have so many parents who haven't got a clue when their child should be starting per-school/nursery/school and how they should apply! Many of them have no  idea what a pre-school or nursery is!!

I have a child just started with us who has moved from a school based preschool, we are private. She wasn't aware that the funded hours where not available over the school holidays even though her son attended the previous setting for a year.
