Hello, just wondering if I can get a view as to what nursery managers/staff/children and parents prefer to see and use in their schools. I see a lot of classic Woodne chairs that look beautiful and sturdy but I also read and hear that perhaps jsut good quality plastic type material is actually more practical and cheaper. Would be great to understand what the preferences are? Many thanks
Donna

For chairs I go for the poly and metal purely for sturdiness.

We only use wood, if you look after them properly they last, it's worth the extra money. For us we want a home look as much as possible and want to keep things neutral. Is more expensive though.

Yes Donna use ebay but not for furniture really. I tend to buy from (very expensive) catalogues when ordering furniture as it is built for purplose and not by Ikea!
I bought some great PURPLE poly and metal chairs about 12 years ago and have not been able to find them since!

Cheers, we have only been doing the wooden chairs ourselves but are now looking at some strong Poly chairs to add a bit of colour and variety. The place we are sourcing also do coloured chairs that are metal. I don't mind forwarding the link if you wish. They are an Italian company and the quality seems quite good!
